Needing alternatives, I tested Cool Water Summer. The addition of the citrus notes makes a world of difference to my nose. Despite all the trashing of Cool Water on this site, I'd recommend Cool Water Summer to others who have the problem of summer colognes turning sour on their skin. (And there ARE others, according to the board discussions.)
I have recently bought Upsilon Wild Blue after watching perfume gyaan video of upsilon being a clone of david off cool water. I love DOCW and have used it in past, but upsilon gives more detergent kinda smell in the opening and later a little aquatic. Longevity issue is a problem .
In conclusion, Cool Water Intense is a surprisingly different fragrance than the original Cool Water EdT. In my opinion, it’s a very good value for money fragrance, perfect for those nights out on hot summer days. It’s a lot more pleasant than other sweet and fresh party fragrances such as Invictus.
