I was able to get all my problems in dragon age fixed using the hard reboot and if that didn't fix it the 2nd operation is in settings on xbox one and click on Disc & Blu-Ray and click on Persistent Storage and choose Clear Persistent Storage, this will fix game locks, freezes, characters stuck in game as well.
